Lion's Mane is an easy-to-use mushroom extract in capsule form.
Lion's Mane is originally the English name for the mushroom which in Swedish is called Hedgehog mushroom (Latin: Hericium erinaceum). Both names make sense, but perhaps the English term is better connected to the mushroom's appearance. This is a type of thorn fungus that grows on trees. The fungus looks like a hanging man and is white to yellowish-white in color. It is protected in Sweden, but is abundant in Asia, where it is sold both fresh and dried.
